On the eigth day...
Following on from a story about a church giving away iPods to draw new members, we've decided to have a brain storm and see if there's a section in the bible to reflect the holyness of this.
There isn't, so we thought we'd write our own...
We cleary care for these poor souls being taught to covet materialism.

1-1: And on the eigth day, God invented AAC and lo, it was OK.
1-2: And lo, Jesus did recruit his disciples with the promise of everlasting
techie gadgets.
1-3: And the disciples cared not about their afterlife for they had the ability
to listen to over 3000 tunes.
1-4: Many with pictures.
1-5: And they danced.
1-6: Although the non believers were unable to sync their sony media
players.
1-7: And they were vengeful.
1-8: So they cracked open the skulls of the holy and feasted upon their
brains.
1-9: And they starved

Cyclic Quicksand
Further to one of our previous posts (and ensuing discussion), I've found a nice article that touches on the subject of the anthropic principle while discussing a cyclic universe. The ideas regarding the cyclic universe are pretty out there, but the rebuff of the AP is nice and clear: "Relying on the anthropic principle is like stepping on quicksand".
